OUR TRAVEL PROJECTS

We curate, organise and lead immersive educational travel projects to South India. Our themed journeys explore the changing geographical, historical, artistic and cultural dynamics of India’s changing modern context. Our strength is our place-based approach to travel: Connected, light footed and really well interpreted.

  • Curated learning journeys exploring cultural themes

Our learning journeys are opportunities for travellers who have a personal or professional interest in specific themes. The theme is explored within South India’s richly diverse cultural context, providing an insider's view of the changing landscape, and it’s heritage and wildlife.

  • Professional development study visits for teachers

These CPD programmes enable teachers and educators to gather information and teaching resource ideas to use and share on their return to their schools. Each study visit has a specific subject theme, developed to suit the key stage and curriculum requirements of the participants.

  • Curriculum aligned immersive learning

Our school trips are curriculum-linked immersive learning experiences, travelling for two weeks within two states of South India: Karnataka and Kerala. The travel itinerary enables experiences of contextualised case studies, deepening understanding of subject specific topics through shared activities and community collaborations.

  • Placements, field trips and research projects

Our enrichment programmes provide elements of higher education programmes of study. They are learning experiences for deepening and enriching subject areas. Our travel itineraries are developed in close collaboration with the academic teaching faculty to support a theme of study, and include teaching practice placements.

The Stepwell opportunity was one of the most empowering adventures I have been privileged to experience. I was inspired by everything!
